Big Buds First Aid was established in October of 2023 in Kingston, Ontario.  Owner and Instructor Joseph "Bud" Madigan had always had a passion with training and an interest in helping others, with these two passions Joseph decided that it was time to go the next step and obtain his First Aid instructors certification through the Canadian Red Cross.  Joseph started training in early fall of 2023 and then decided to create his own venture and built Big Buds First Aid.   

 

In the short time that we have been open we have trained for multiple companies from the likes of Tim Hortons (TDL), Veeda Inc, Homestead Properties, Upper Level Doors, Thompson Electric, Start Safe Training, Santin Masonry and R.W Construction to name a few. ​

 

We like to get our participants engaged in the course and have a modern twist.  With having new updated equipment and other equipment to simulate real life scenarios like abdominal thrust and back blows, impalement and more for our first aid courses.  We also provide youth programs like the Babysitters course and Stay Safe course.​

 

Big Buds is very proud to be a member of the Kingston community and even offers volunteer services for large events.  Joseph believes in giving back to the community that has help build and grow Big Buds First Aid.
